With tremendous community support, the participation of 17 restaurants, and the generous sponsorship support of TD, ViiV Healthcare, and Flora Hall, we raised over $55,200 during this year’s A Taste for Life! This is the highest amount since the start of the pandemic, and is remarkable given the squeeze put on everyone’s budgets due to inflation and the financial strains felt by the restaurant industry.
Taste is our largest annual fundraiser. All event costs are covered by our sponsors, ensuring that every dollar donated supports programs and services. In particular we count on this event for the entire $25,000 Client Health & Wellness Fund—this fund is used to help clients facing additional expenses such as medical or dental costs not covered by ODSP, veterinary costs, and accessibility devices.
