Thank you, amazing Bruce House community! We broke our Pride/August fundraising total this year, with an astounding $33,638 raised to support vulnerable people living with HIV.
It began with the Adult Fun Superstore holding their annual “Double the Love for Bruce House” event, this year raising $2,063. Our friends at Swizzles celebrated twelve years of Thursday Drag shows by raising $850 in one night on August 8th.
The ever-growing National Capital Pride Run and Drag & Balls each broke their previous records, raising $13,000 (NCPR) and $16,700 (D&G). Shout-out to TD for supporting Drag & Balls to the tune of $5400.
We also received generous donations at our Pride street festival table, and gifts sent directly to our office.
We are so grateful to have this outstanding community support.
