We’re excited to officially share some exciting news!
Bruce House is joining the Bike Rally as an official beneficiary. Participants will now have the option to fundraise in support of their vital work in the Ottawa community.

Founded in 1988, Bruce House has been a cornerstone of HIV support in Ottawa for decades. Their programs focus on helping people living with HIV access stable housing, maintain their health and independence, and stay connected to care and community.
By joining the Bike Rally as a beneficiary, Bruce House becomes part of a growing network of organizations supported by the event along the Ride’s corridor—from Toronto (PWA Foundation), to Kingston (Trellis HIV & Community Care), to Montreal (AIDS Community Care Montreal).
“We’re honoured to welcome Bruce House into the Bike Rally family,” said Michael Reid, Associate Director of Special Events at PWA Foundation. “For more than two decades, the Rally has brought communities together to raise critical funds for people living with HIV. Bruce House’s commitment and programs align deeply with our values, and we’re excited to expand our partnership network along the route that connects our communities.”
“Bruce House is thrilled to join the Friends for Life Bike Rally!” said Linda Truglia, Executive Director of Bruce House. “This amazing initiative will help us continue to support vulnerable people living with HIV in Ottawa. We are grateful to PWA for including us, and to everyone in our community whose generosity every year makes events like this possible.”
The Friends For Life Bike Rally is one of Canada’s largest annual HIV/AIDS fundraising events, bringing together hundreds of riders and volunteers each year to cycle from Toronto to Montreal in support of people living with HIV/AIDS and the organizations that serve them.
Thank you Bruce House for being part of a community that continues to make this life-changing event possible.
With gratitude,
The Friends For Life Bike Rally Team
