My name is Shaun Reid.
I am a Masters of Social Work Student from Carleton University. I am currently in the home stretch and completing my practicum here at Bruce House.
I am a gay/queer identified individual with strong roots in the queer community both in Ottawa and Toronto. I am very excited to be working with Bruce House and supporting their mission.
My experience since beginning my career has been predominantly in pediatric psychiatry, with some experience in community-based work and advocacy. I recently moved from health care to working with the federal government. I will be working at Bruce House between May and August.
Fun Fact, I am also a local drag artist here in Ottawa.
